Although EVs have been available for a number of years now, many people still have vastly different perceptions of them compared to the reality that they operate in now. From driving range to cost, EVs are still thought of as needing improvement before many people would consider buying one.
According to a new poll from the AA, only one in eleven of the almost 28,000 members they asked would go hybrid or electric for their next car. 99% of those polled prioritised reliability whereas only 55% considered the environmental impact of their next car.
